Equipment:

Two categories: essential and optional. These categories are not fixed and vary with the individual needs.

-          gas cooker with extra gas containers

-          water purifier, filters (Jug filters)

-          radio transistor - keep batteries separate and up to date

-          lighting – wind up torches (flashlights)

-          small generator and fuel  for lighting eventually heating

-          sleeping bags

-          tent

-          lighting tools, matches ( good quality - not standard cheap version), lighters

-          anti-bug coils or incense

-          pot for cooking and utensils

-          cutlery

-          small pot for boiling water

-          A bag that can hold all the essentials

-          String or rope – not too heavy

-          Sewing needles (curved and straight) and strong thread

-          A good knife ( Swiss army , Leatherman)
